Is That chocolate?

First off, I know you should never show poop pictures or even talk about it. No one wants to see it….and well, its gross to talk about. But a few weeks ago I learned an extremely important lesson. Never take off that diaper until your absolutely ready! Here’s to hoping someone learns from my lesson.

That morning Piper had just finished eating breakfast and was getting ready to get in the bathtub. While she was eating I could tell she was trying to go poop since she usually goes red in the face and won’t eat while pushing. I started filling up the bathtub and took her into my room to change her diaper. Upon opening her diaper I saw there was next to nothing in it. ‘Lucky me’ I thought. Since I was going to get her in the tub any minute I figured she’d be fine crawling around the bathroom floor naked. After all, what could possibly happen in only a few minutes?

I left her for a few seconds to run and grab her bath towel from the laundry pile. I quickly turned off the water and turned around to call Piper to come get in the tub. She was already in the bathroom…luckily. She started crawling to me and that’s when I saw a nice brown blob trailing her. The little girl had pooped!

Now I am definitely not one of those parents who have to capture a picture before rescuing their child. My phone just happened to be on charging in the bedroom that morning...honestly!

I ran to grab the wipes and started cleaning up the floor when suddenly she had it all over her hands. I grabbed that little lady and laid her down on the bathroom floor to clean her up. Immediately she started crying because I was upset, and she didn’t want to lie on the cold bathroom floor. Anyone that knows Piper knows this girl loves to suck on her hands. She automatically tried to stick her poop covered hands in her mouth. At that point, I was done with the wipes and she got all washed up in the sink before going into her tub.

After getting Piper and floor all clean and washed up I sent the picture to Stephen at work. His comment…”I hope that’s chocolate.” Oh how I wished it would have only been chocolate!
